That part is right but...
As I wrote in my first letter, the manner in which I recall the chronology of certain events is not entirely accurate
I think the use of "as" is correct there. However, what does "the manner in which I recall" mean and is it correct.
To me, "the manner in which I recall" means the way or method that I recall. What does it mean to recall in the wrong manner (or way),
Here is one dictionary's def's:
a way in which something is done or happens.
a style in literature or art.
(manner of) chiefly literary a kind or sort.
So you are saying you recalled it was incorrect though what you recalled may be perfectly fine. Did you use drugs, take a cheat sheet into a test? What was wrong with the manner you used (the way you) remembered.
I think it is not saying what you want to say but is grammatically correct.
