First I want to ask about faith in God. How come he doesn't do any of the miricles anymore like in the Old Testament, why did he just decide to stop on day...
Well, I think you mean when God dwelled with his chosen people?
Ofcourse, it is interesting. As we go further back in time he did seem to be more active, lol. Parting the sea, appearing to Moses and coming down upon the Jews, with his presence, the Tabernacle.
I guess therein lies the clue. He seemed to have a special purpose for his people in that period of time, and so he chose to wrought his purpose even himself at times. If you want a job doing properly - you have to do it yourself.
Now that Christ has been, God's purpose is that the Kingdom should be preached throughout the world. I suppose that there are still miracles anyway. I have heard of many miracles surrounding the preachers of the Gospel. Where you find the purpose of God you will usually find the miracles. That's my opinion, I hope it's accurate.
Also, when you ask about "faith in God", Christ often said "where is your faith". We can have faith without seeing, he also said "blessed are those who believe when they have not seen". Faith will and does reward us, and miracles are still being wrought by God. You may not hear much about these things though, if you don't even know what televangelist is. How can you find something without seeking it? -
Remember what I said? - You might find God's miracles where God's purpose is.
