So you've got one dubious study, whose results are in conflict with many other studies and the results of feeding unrealistic parameters into a model.
That isn't exactly a strong scientific case, is it ?

Eh ? I'm not disputing subduction. I'm referring to your "evidence" for catastrophic rates (just follow the link back to the message I replied to).
The dubious study is, of course, the "RATE helium retention results" you invoked.
