Cool Oni, you just have to visit The Netherlands (strongest pot you can get, and great beers too, well in the south anyway ).
I like number 5, I'd go with that one. You could build a show about how America is always bragging about being so great, but they are actually underachieving when compared to the rest of the world. Or something, not pretending I know better than an actual comic, but hey, just my thoughts.

I don't do pot. I just drink.
International Pot-Heads? Actually that sounds like a Dutch political party!!
Let me see, I think we had one kinda like that.... Of course we had, see the video: This was for the general elections of 2006, no they didn't get a single seat. Sorry about the voicess, nut they were not the origanl Dutch ones, as you might have gathered.

Woohoo!
Dude, that's my Mecca. I will definitely be going through there. For comedy purposes, how's American slang understood there?
Well, I'd like to think I know it well enough (perhaps you could give some examples?), Not sure about the rest of the country though. My friends know it, but I don't know how well they speak it up north. English isn't a problem for almost any Dutchmen, but slang words, I don't know, I'll ask around a bit.
Thanks for your thoughts, Huntard.
No problem mate.

Oh, and another tip, I don't know if you've heard of Geert Wilders, but he's coming over to New York to protest that Mosque thingy they want to build there, cause that's kinda the asshole he is, but perhaps you could work some of that into your material. He tried to visit the UK as well, and got arrested, maybe they know about his shenanigans over there as well.

I think you'll be good then.
Let me not get you confused, I don't mean like street slang or anything like that. Nothing too urban or hip-hop'ish. I think I meant more in our common words that we may say one way and you guys another. Words or phrases like, cigs
Yes, but perhaps "smokes" is better, not too sure if all people will get that one.
hot chick
No problem with that one.
I'm bagging her
Perhaps banging ?
this is cool as shit
No problem there.
hit the club
We know that. Bear in mind that a lot of American shows are broadcast here, most people know English pretty fucking well, and I don't think you'll egt someone who doesn't speak a word of English to go to a show of American comedians. If it's not too "slangish" I think everything will catch on pretty well. If they don't know a particular word, I'm sure they'll pick it up from the context.

There is a caution about Wilders though, he did get a lot of votes in the last general election (yes, idiots live everywhere), and will probably be part of our new government (well not exactly a part, but it's kinda complicated to explain). Anyway, point being, some people might get offended if you try to picture him as a "far right" nutter. Not that I care if they would be offended, but that might turn the audience against you, and we don't want that. Though I'm not sure how many "Wilders-fans" would go to an American comedy trio. And again, I'm not sure how things are up North (In my province, where he's originally from, he got the most votes of all the parties in every district, if I recall correctly, up North it was less extreme).
Also, I must give him this, most of the time he speaks in parliament, it is usually good for a laugh or two, and not just about some of his more nuttier ideas (he proposed a "kopvoddentax" (literally "head-rag-taxation"), to tax all veil types. Hilarity ensued for me, not only because of the ridiculousness of the proposal, but also because every other party was falling over themselves to say what a disgrace this was.

Banging we know.
Yes, I should learn to spell. Just out of curiousity, 'cause the booker over there will pretty much handle pitching our stuff to the clubs they see we'll fit in best. But what countires would not receive us well? Language wise, or maybe they just hate Americans.
Probably the French, but they hate everybody, so.... (Also, I don't know how good their knowledge of other languages is, but they usually refuse to speak anything other than French) For the rest, I think you'll be pretty safe anywhere in the Northwest. Not sure about Germany, but perhaps Cosmicchimp can say more about that. Southern Europe isn' t all that up to par on English, I think, and I don't really know about the more Eastern parts.

Heh, that reminds me of something fuinny over here. We also have a smoking ban in our bars and stuff since last year. Of course , in true Dutch fashion we're still smoking there anyway (I don't smoke, by the way), but the funny thing was that this led to the fact that you couldn't smoke a normal cigarette inside a coffeeshop (the place where you get weed here), but you could smoke a cigarette made of pure weed. I think they remedied it now by allowing you to smoke normal cigarettes in coffeshops, but this has led to other bars protesting that you are not allowed to smoke in their establishments. What it all boils down to is that due to the "tolerance policy" (gedoogbeleid) here in The Netherlands, they've created a nice little judicial mess.
He obviously hasn't been here for at least a couple of years. A more appropriate name for the tour might be: What? You can't smoke here either?

The Dutch for one won't give a flying fuck about cursewords. You can say "fuck" on television here without getting bleeped, yes, on prime time.
We thought about that, seriously, but the curse word wasn't something we thought would go over well.

Yes, you Brits imagine a lot of things when you're drunk. Here's a hint, a Dutchmen does not want to fulfil your "cricket" fantasies.
Way I heard it is that you guys aren't fussy. I heard that there are only two criteria applied by Dutch guys. Female and breathing. And that of those two only one of the criteria need be met for it to be an acceptable shag.

It would be over here.
Sorry to stick my fat oar in, but although I think it's a good title, would there not be some restrictions on where the word "Wankers" could be publicised? Maybe I'm behind the times, but I can't picture it being allowed on any publically displayed posters or billboards displayed outside clubs and pubs, for example.

I've thought about it long and hard, but no, I can't come up with anything, other than some "obvious" things (murder, driving to fast, that kind of stuff). Is there anything they stop you guys from doing? Oh just thought of something else, prostitution is legal here too.

Not in the UK they don't (or only after eleven o'clock or something).
Really? I thought you guys were less restrictive than we are? Don't they curse on tv over there?

What amazes me time and time again is when I hear an American go on about how he lives in the most free country on Earth. I'm always like "wow, we must be in space then." Although, I do like some of the aspects of your society better, or rather your constituion. I think seperation of church and state should be done more here. Just as an example, catholic or protestant or muslim schools get government funding over here. And while there is a curriculum that they should adhere too, I still find it weird why any religious school should get funding from the fovernment. Then again, of all my classmates that went to a catholic school, perhaps only two (that I know of) are still religious.
This is the reason I never believed that shit Bush said about the terrorist attacking the US cause they hate our freedom. What fucking freedom???
