We don't have a sanpshot of every living thing for every miniute of its life. We only have a very few compared to the total number of things that have ever lived. I have a snapshot of my grandfather taken in Germany more than a hundred years ago. I have another snapshot of him taken in Canada several years later. No, I don't have snapshots of him every step of the way but for some whacky reason I infer that he must have travelled from Germany to Canada. The missing transitional snapshots don't disprove the obvious conclusion.
Darwin is to evolution what Columbus is to the United States of America. The USA developed in a way that Columbus probably could not have predicted and might not have approved of. The theory of Evolution developed in a way that Darwin probably could not have predicted and might not have approved of. So what? Edited by ringo, : Back on topic.
