Yeah, something similar with me. I've got a degree in inorganic chemistry. That doesn't make me a chemist at all. It just taught me that I know a little bit more about chemistry than what other people know; but that I really don't know much about chemistry. That's about it.
I don't know enough to challenge those hundreds of thousands of specialists on chemistry, from all over the world, on their findings.
I see that Lomu disappeared. My guess is that he will get full marks from his creationist 'University' for posting something on an 'evolutionist' website. In the end his 'Degree' will be worth as much as the education of a 12-year old. He won't get a job in the real world; apart from being able to be preaching to other undereducated people...somewhere in the American Bible Belt or the poor suburbs of western Sydney or around Teheran.
In the end Lomu appears to be too stupid to even try to pretend to educated.
I would love to see old Lomu greeting those guys in western Sydney with a 'Howdy all', though. It would be a blast. Those guys wouldn't know what to do. You Sepo!
Been down the road of sockpuppets around here for a ling time. Being cautious is not uncalled for. That is called himself a scientist just because he claims a degree in a scientific field is huge red flag.
Re: 3.7-billion-year-old fossils may be the oldest signs of life on Earth
Yeah, Faith expects reality to contradict his/her favourite interpretations of his/her favourite holy scriptures. So, I guess that Faith doesn't believe much of Protestant or Catholic or Eastern Orthodox or Jewish Bibles.
Yeah. A lot of Christian religious people try to change the meaning of written words to what they want it to mean to suit their beliefs. One example is the meaning op the word "soon" being changed to "whenever it happens somewhere in future around 5 billion years from now".
Another example is when they want the meaning of the words "this generation" get changed to "any generation, whenever". That's what they want those words to mean. And then they call it it's a "prophesy" getting "fulfilled"!
Cat Sci, you must be careful. You're going to be accused of blaming the supposed God for you being really, really bad in the supposed good creation. Because Adam and Eve supposedly ate some fruit. Even though you only turned up thousands of years later. You're bad!
