Needs work.
I have heard that some physicists have stated that it would be statisticaly impossible for all the factors that go into making a place in the universe suitable for life (as we know it) to come about given that there is only one universe.
While you may have heard that, unless you have source where we can find out what exactly was said and the context I don't see how there could really be any discussion of the issue. See if you can come up with something that might form a basis for discussion.

    How to get around.
First, clicking on the link in the email sent to you should take you directly to the message that triggered the notification.
Second this link should take you directly to the list of the most recent topics. I suggest bookmarking it to make life easier for you.
Third, we try to break things into manageable subjects. For example this particular forum on EvC is for discussing the Big Bang and Cosmology.
EvC itself is broken into three main areas, one side a collection of Science fourms, another more theistic based and the third, where we have the coffeehouse and links and news more just a general converstaion area.
    Finally, you said:
I would like to know first hand what indeed is believed by evolutionist. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt despite what my christian collegues think.
You should also understand that Christian and those who accept Evolution as the best explanation of what we see are NOT mutually exclusive. You will find after you have been here for awhile that many you might label Evolutionist are also Christian.
