The offer of $250,000 is a Symbolic challenge. It is not the money. But, it is the challenge that matters. It should not be difficult for our well known "Scientists" to provide evidence to prove that Evolution occured and is still occuring.

i think if you look hard enough, you'll find a few who have, but couldn't get an impartial panel to judge, or were subject to various forms of suspicious ground rules. besides, the challenge is rigged -- it's not asking for proof of evolution, but proof of what this particular creationist's strawman concept of evolution is.
