Look,
We athiests can provide provide evidence that strongly supports evolution and the fact that the earth is 4.6 billion years old.
We are a sister planet to the moon etc.
I'm sure that everyone here that believes in evolution has seen evidence posted SOOO many times on here yet I continue to see creationists come up with some crazy new reason that it isn't fact.
I'll give you some hard facts,
Theory of special relativity, We know the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. It's been tested and verified with experiements down to within like a few miles per second.
riddle me this, distant galaxies are obviously millions of light years away, yet we can see their light... how then were we only created 6000 years ago.
obviously there is flaw, I could go on for ever but I won't, I'll just get down to the hard truths.
Evolution is fact, it will continue to be show time and time again, in the coming months and the coming years.
Your children will realize this because they will see it with an open mind. There is nothing creationists can do about it. We have become smarter as a human race and we will no longer let the wool be pulled over our eyes with lack of understanding or control.
Scientiests know evolution is fact and its positively astounding that people still cling to their precious beliefs.
I find it appalling that we are so technologically advanced now and have lept forward so incredibly much in the last 30 years, and yet people still cling to a 2000 year old belief system.
let it die, lets evolve to a new level, the information age.
I see religion this way, its like god is the teacher and we the people of earth were in first grade. perhaps hinduism was second grade and budaism was third grade etc. However, we have graduated to a new level, one with planes and rockets and nuclear physics, and computers.
Everyone who is religious, please don't let me stop you, and by all means teach religious in morality class or whatever, JUST NOT IN SCIENCE. I'ts absolutely rediculous to think that we all decended from adam and eve blah blah blah. I mean ever heard of inbreeding?
It's obviously a gross over simplification that is meant symbolically to guide us in a very early coming of age as a species.
Case closed. Evolution is real and fact and those that are religious should do some real research on their own.
