RASD covers it
Message 84
RASD does a careful and complete and reasoned job of answering dendochronology issues.
If there are flaws there are:
1) It is a lot to absorb. I doubt that the doubters want to actually learn so much.
2) The site referred to on the issue of false rings doesn't describe in as much detail as I would like. I not that the ring which almost touches the left lower corner and slopes to middle upper edge meets the description for a false ring but I think the only remaining thing would be to show other examples and point some out.
(ooops I think I posted a dup of this in the wrong place )

RAZD for whole Great Debate so far
RAZD is being very patient and very thorough. Keys doesn't realize the corner that he, Keys, is painting himself into.
RAZD isn't jumping on him (yet ) but seems to be waiting until the painting is very complete. It is fun to watch.
In addition, the thread is growing into a very useful collection of information, links and RAZD's careful exposition.
{Added by edit: Creation Museum Age of the Earth is False (KEYS and RAZD) is the topic. - Adminnemooseus}

dwise1 is wise indeed
And he imparts that wisdom with a clear explanation.
This one is so good maybe we should just post it at the top of any ID threads and be done with it.

Codegate for helping simplify ( )
Message 39 and the next one.
I think this is a better place to start before discussing actual dendochronology. It is a good example and with the addition of colors it give some more flavor of the actual method of correlating rings.
The emphasis on correlation also shows a real understanding of what is going on.
Of course, it is wasted on anyone with an IQ under 70.
