Just for fun (and it's posters like you who really put the "fun" back in "fundie"), what did you discover at age 12 that totally overthrew the theory of evolution? I'd love to hear what I've been missing all these years (just please don't tell me it was Wollemia nobilis).

Let me see if I've understood you. At age 12, someone said to you the equivalent of "Goddidit", and that convinced you that thousands of scientists, from multiple religions and cultures in multiple countries - specialists in biology, paleontology, geology, physics, astronomy, molecular biology, genetics, phylogeny, developmental biology, ecology, etc etc - were completely wrong and deluded to "accept the faith of evolution"? Wow. I don't suppose there was any particular piece of actual evidence you'd like to share that convinced you that a) all those scientists were wrong, and b) there was something in evolutionary theory or biology that was incompatible with the existence of God - or that even mentioned the divine?

Hi McDozer: I think you might find it more comfortable on this board. Those folks are speaking your language, (err, or at least English). "Helen" is their resident "scientist" - she's absolutely right there with you. There are a lot of other posters who are completely on your side (most of 'em are YECs). The board has a very restrictive posting policy - probably three quarters of the people here on , for example, wouldn't be allowed to register or post there - so you won't have to worry about defending your positions. There's very little dissenting and/or scientific viewpoint presented. Enjoy.
