It appears that Saddam might have been captured in Tikrit. I remain skeptical that we did indeed capture him, but BBC news is reporting that it is him. I wonder if this will put a damper on atacks in Iraq and we can get to rebuilding the place for the Iraqis? I hate that we are their but maybe this will help speed up the turn-over to an Iraq self-government? I suspect that we will (US) stay there under the auspicies of "protecting" the oil, for a while.
