It will probably be the case that we never fully understand where the Universe came from.
Just because you or all of humanity hasn't or will never understand the answer to that question does not mean that the supernatural is involved.
It doesn't mean that it isn't, either, but who can say?
We just don't know, and probably never will.
This uncertainty makes many uncomfortable so they plug some supernatural "explanation" in there, but this is belief without evidence. Which is also fine, but not rational.
