Re: checking again.
Faith
The three religions worship different Gods. If Christianity is correct then the others simply are not.
So what you are saying here is that there is more than one God?

It's like if somebody completely mischaracterizes what you think or say or do, you feel like saying "that's not me you're talking about, that's a figment of your imagination." Same idea.
I imagine that is quite true and also quite likely how those of the Jewish faith and the islamic faith would view your synopsis of them.

Not a potshot at all Faith. An observation to show that the notions involved in the details of conflict between religions are not necessarily a conflict with the object of those religions which is the existance of a god.
Because what the other religions believe is contradictory with Christianity
Your previous statement here is an example. The texts of men that outline the background of the affairs of men and the beliefs of men about the characters of history Moses Muhammed Jesus Abraham are part and parcel of the nature of humans. The tribal endevour to establish a superiority in religion locally in the pressing need to maintain an order among society locally is a far more likely reason for the differences in the one religion over another.
The point on topic here though is the concept of God. Since the normal response appears to be IMHO that God is the raison d'etre of existence and God is not describable without placing a human induced limitation
on God and his capabilities Then the focus need proceed to the common ground since all else is needless detail.
God=Allah is not so far fetched I think.
