I searched from 1993 to present using the term Himalaya and came up with nothing. Same using "Brokaw" and "Himalaya" on Google. Either you are right and the great conspiracy of all scientists, journalists, and lay people who saw the broadcast have successfully suppressed this information or you are very confused.
Judging by the content of your posts, the evidence indicates the latter observation is far more likely IMO.
