YOur answer doesn't seem to make sense.
First you say that God wouldn't and did not create a universe with a false age.
Then you seem to say that he might deceive people as a "test".
Can you explain ?

If God doesn't deceive then the universe really is about 15 billion years old.
But how is your "inherent age" not a false age ?

Since 1 Timothy 3 only has 16 verses I'd like to seem him quote verse 17.
I think he means 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Which is often interpreted by Fundamentalists as meaning that the Bible was literally authored by God and is infallibly true. Of course it doesn't come out and actually SAY that but what the Bible says usually takes second place to what fundamentalists would like it to mean
