It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it.

To say remarks that a persons children are ignorant becouse of
what they believe is unbelievable in these times.

To say that a person is ignorant when that person says "all radioactivity is manmade" like 27% of the American populace, or "antibiotics kill viruses as well as bacteria" like 46% of us is merely reporting the facts. Those people are ignorant of the facts. (That's not the same as "ignurnt" the insult - though the word does get used that way far too often.)
​
The 56% of our population who disagree with "human beings are developed from earlier species of animals" are just as ignorant.
They don't possess knowledge that's freely available to them, and was likely presented while they were sleeping through 8th grade science class.
