Ignorant, stupid or insane? (Or maybe wicked?)

They almost certainly fall into the category of being someone who has a great deal of faith in their religious beliefs which they feel are contradicted by evolution.It seems no matter how well educated or intelligent some people just hold faith above all else.

That sounds like a contradiction in terms but I do have some sympathy with that general sentiment with regard to agnosticism I think lots of people do.
