Actually, his crime appear to have been failing to use a condom or some other thing... The problem is that rape laws are very different in Sweden, I don't have details but they seem to have a much larger definition of rape. For example it seems that a woman can withdraw her consent AFTER the fact. There's a blog explaining it a bit, I will try to find better sources.

. The problem was with all the "reputable" press saying this kind of thing, it's hard to find accurate info (and I'm lazy too). Just for information, how did you find out those sites? When I googled, I mostly found info that has turned out to be inaccurate. (googled :"rape laws sweden").
