1)What is there other than the Christian God? for one who doesn't believe the Christian God exists? Quite a lot, actually!
2) I'm not sure my life has a purpose other than the belief that I can make some people a little happier by my continued existence. Is that not enough?
Well actually, there's probably more. I like being pleasantly suprised, and I can only continue to be pleasantly suprised if I stay alive. I also have to admit to a liking of having my prejudices confirmed too, and similarly this is only possible if I stay alive.
Maybe they aren't purposes though. I'm not really sure what a purpose would be as you envisage it apart from a loving relationship with your God. Can you give some examples of purposes that aren't getting into deep relationships with deities?
edited to add lots more stuff.
