Not even close. KEI came to Holden unannounced and out of the blue, and the interest was in dinosaurs and gravity, and definitely not catastrophism. Moreover, a lot of other people had input into that program, and a quick google search on 'dinosaurs' and 'gravity' will convince anybody that more than one or two people have come to this same conclusion. I'll say it again; the nation which gets there first with gravity control is going to have a hell of a thing going, and THAT is what the Japanese are interested in.

The bones of the pterosaurs indicate a max wingspan of 60' and not 40'; the aeronautical engineering dept of the Univ of Texas simply refused to allow Langston to reconstruct them that way. They basically said "Hey, you're making us look stupid enough putting those things together with 40' wingspans but we'll allow that. 60' Wingspans and people will think nobody in Texas knows anything about physics.
The "model" you mentioned was being towed behind a car for a few minutes before it crashed. The real-life pterosaur didn't have a car. Adrien Desmond noted that calculations similar to mine for sauropods have indicated a maximum size of around 40 lbs for flying creatures in our present world/gravity. Beyond that, even if they were only trying to glide and not fly, they'd snap their wing bones any time they tried to turn.

>The temperature inside the core of the sun never reaches high enough for fusion of hydrogen. (The sun never lits).

How about this:
Like, "I'm gonna shoot this dog if yall don't do a 30-minute prime time feature on dinosaurs and gravity..." I mean, that would be about par for a talk.origins type accusation...

RedWolf, that's an interesting page, but it is also wrong. The solar neutrino problem has been solved for several years. As a matter of fact, I went to a talk on it about 10 months ago. I can also tell that the guy knows somethings about physics, but doesn't really understand a whole lot more. The whole bit about astrophysics curricula not including "currents and E-fields" is just plain laughable. There shouldn't be any doubt that the sun radiates energy via nuclear fusion, primarily of hydrogen.
As for gravity changing in the recent past, there would be some tell tale signs. For instance, we could look at stars 100 million light years away to see if gravity was acting differently then than it is now. We could also examine how often the rate of deposition of dust and what not changed over the past 100 million years (stuff from space has different chemical signatures than earth stuff).

No they haven't. You need to do more reading on the topic.

Towed or under it's own power it flew, and that is the point. If the gravity was significantly different the lift to drag ratio would not have been enough. As it turns out the area needed to generate enough lift in 1g is present in the prehistoric specimen. I repeat:
If there was a change in gravity as Ted Holden and his gullible cohorts contend, then the model should not be able to get off the ground. Note that this argument is not concerned with wing span, bone or muscle strength as the aerodynamics shows it was possible and there would be no reason for that to be so for a critter living under reduced gravity, and this critter definitely comes for the time period in question. For Ted's hypothesis to have any credibility the model should not fly, it does, and that is a problem for any reduced gravity scenario. enjoy. we are limited in our ability to understand by our ability to understand RebelAAmerican.Zen[Deist

I have done reading, and attended a talk. The solar neutrino problem has been solved. Your article is incorrect in several aspects, including its claim that we detect muon neutrinos- the neutrino deficit was a lack of detected electron neutrinos. We know that neutrinos can change flavor via the Super-Kamiokande experiments from the late 90's. I am just pointing out some of the more standout flaws in that link, but there are others. I like the idea of that cosmic current though, that's something a science fiction writer couldn't imagine.

The ostrich is living proof that birds that size can't fly. After the change in gravity, the larger birds either died out, or their wings became vestigial, as inthe case of ostriches, moas etc. etc. Rubbish. The Ostrich is no more proof that birds that size can't fly than kiwis are proof that swans can't.

Airplanes that weigh over 40 lb's will have thier wings snapped off when they turn? Does this FAA know about your calculations?

Come on, Red, what do you have to say?

Sorry, They've been found.
Try this: The research, at the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory, near Sudbury, Ontario, demonstrated conclusively that there is no "solar neutrino deficit" http://www.physics.ubc.ca/...snew/washingtonpost_020421.html Even AiG acknowledge that the neutrinos has been found and that the argument no longer works.

Even AiG acknowledge that the neutrinos has been found and that the argument no longer works. Hovind and his pals think AIG is far too mainstream to be beliavable.

Can we assume your continued silence means you have no answer?
That being the case, could you at least show the strength of character to admit defeat?
