I never realised this guy Moller is a Prof. of Environmental Medicine. How does that mean he has expertise in Archeology?
Also his name crops up on those lists of cranks whining about evolution. Mmmm - ideology at the expense of facts and logic perhaps?

I didn't say he posted. He is a signee of a list of 100 'scientists' that the ID folks bandy around.
http://www.objectivityinscience.org/dissent.html This list crops up on many websites. Now the statement that is signed to is pretty mild and just states that evidence against evolution should be encouraged to be debated - but many of the sites direct state it is a list against Darwinism. Also many of the other signees are known cranks.

Well, I just recently did a quick google search on the chariot wheels in the red sea, and I have to say that those pictures are quiet amazing. I am convinced that those are chariot wheels. I think most rational un-biased minded people would agree at first glance. And if indeed those are chariot wheels and human bones down there, why don't we have scuba teams down there right now photographing and collecting remains? At face value, it seems that this really is the site where the Red sea crossing took place. How many other locations in the near east have human bones, and chariot parts been discovered? Do you accept anything in your life on the flimsiest of eveidence. Does it not strike you as strange that no one else has 'found' this material? Or that Ron Wyatt is considered a fraud by even most fundamentalists. Or that this is not front page news the world over as being perhaps the biggest archeological find in history. Are you so gullible?

an supporters just give us ONE piece of evidence that had been checked by independent sources? These are people who are not versed in how things in the 'real world' work. How independent verification and testing are important pieces of the scientific method. How peer review is important. What we have here is a case of a few nuts (Wyatt etc.) who are known to have fabricated things in the past, who obviously have a huge reason to fabricate (i.e back up their extremist cultic form of Christianity) and are considered fringe elements even by groups like AIG and ICR. Then the gullible followers of these people accuse the whole world of conspiracies to prevent the 'truth' coming out and ignoring the 'evidence'. Yet, none of these supporters, is obviously clued in at all as to how scientific inquiry occurs - I'd be shocked if any of the folks on here trumpeting Wyatts' nonsense have as a profession anything remotely related to science.

My father was killed in an industrial accident in 1963, 8 months before I was born - my mother was killed in an auto accident when she was 8 months pregnant with me - I was born by emergency caeserean. No brothers, no sisters no nothing. Never really missed it because I never knew anything different.

that will fabricate "evidence" and generally bear false witness to bolster an already weak faith.
Not a single one of you probably has any experience in the scientific method in any of the sciences. You are just a bunch of amateur hacks pissing around not knowing what you are doing. It is plainly evident you do not know how to present or examine evidence and because this nonsense agrees with your preconceived viewpoint it is accepted by default. Whereas to anybody who doesn't really give a crap one way or the other it looks like a shell game from the get go. Chariots on the Red Sea floor - CRAP!!!!

defending the Wyatt 'work' would you mind stating your scientific expertise and your actual 'real life' professions.

of why uneducated hicks should not attempt a scientific study or examination and reporting of so called evidence.
Again, what do you rubes do for a living that would lend us to believe you have any expertise in these areas other than futhering fundamentalist nonsense? And you guys are being really rude to Charles as he requests facts not mantras. Hence the rubes/hicks comments above.

I agree but they are being assholes to Charles.
And I would still like to know their expertise.

You're kidding right?
Do you know any science? On second thoughts don't bother answering that - I know the answer. You do realise that if that "device" could do what Wyatt claimed for it he could have made tens of millions from mining companies the world over. Let me see now: Wyatt found the Ark.Wyatt found the Ark of the Covenant. Wyatt found the Exodus path. Wyatt found chariot wheels on the bottom of the Red Sea. Wyatt posesses a device mineralogists would kill for. Mmmm - you think dementia was a factor in his hyperbole and nonsense?

I know what you are saying but it is useful to know the bullshit filter that the "evidence" posted upon here may have gone through beforehand.

Because it is pertinent. As I said earlier if someone like a farmer is filtering the data before I get it then I want to know that.
Hey, you did stop the mother comments.
