Percy, I do not have the exact quote but Asgara said something that I am about to quote almost exactly.
Asgara said: If you wish to have your full privilidges restored the please petition me at QueenAsgar@
Now Percy is that an example of a good faith offer to dialogue. Obviously not. I recognize that you have created a forum where some debate occurs but I would suggest there could be a lot more level debating environment.
Sincerely,
Ken

Put yourself in my shoes.
Suppose I said the following to you:
Percy, if you want to talk to me further please petition me at kingken@hotmail.com
Would you take that as an reasonable offer to dialogue?

Re: to: percy
TO: Percy
My ability to post new threads has been shut off. I believe I have responded to those who oppose my threads. MiketheWIZ who is a long time member and who many think is reasonable has stated my "professed atheist" string has merit.
Here are the threads I opened:
Psychology looks at atheism and theism. Also, atheism is tenuous/non-existent/rare ..
http://http://www.evcforum.net/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro
abiogenesis hypothesis and the despair of professed materialist
http://http://www.evcforum.net/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro
Do you have any problems with me looking at atheism/materialism and the less religious vis a vis the social sciences?
Is professed materialism/atheism above being examined?
Do you see any unreasonableness in my argumentation or any unreasonableness on my part especially in comparison to many of the threads participants who seem to have full board privilidges?
Sincerely,
Ken

Re: to: percy
TO: percy
I wish to add it seems as if my recent ability to not being able to open new threads is directly related to the "atheism" thread I opened yesterday. It seems to be blatent censorship especially since I used social science data and other data.
Sincerely,
Ken

Dear Asgara,
1. Sideline has 10 open threads outside of the suggestions and questions forum.
2. I cannot attend to my theads outside the Free for All forum.
3. If there was more intellectual freedom I would not have threads in the suggestions and questions forum
Questions:
1. Has sideline had his new post privilidges removed or been warned not to open new threads in the public domain of EVCFORUM. If not, then why not?
2. Is it just a coincidence that my new thread privilidges were cut off after my "social science/atheism-less religious" thread?
3. Am I showing good faith in my strings I have opened in the free for all forum and if not please explain and give support for your explanation. Please give proper context if you do this.

1. Even Stalin did not close all the churches!
2. What Luther said regarding regarding someone applies:
"He is a proud spirit, and cannot endure scorn."
So while you could endure some scorn to materialist philosophy you evidently cannot endure much!

At debate forums it is a principle that the burden of proof is upon the claimant. I regret to say that you never demonstrated the last claim you made. Perhaps, you need to brush up on your debate forum etiquette.

I think this thread would be a nice additional to the Bible forum at EVCFORUM:

I think you could easily admit my debate etiquette is vastly better than Mr. Knight. Does Mr. Knight have full privilidges?

If you cannot accept full responsibility for your failings then what incentive due I have to continue to speak to you. May? LOL How about using the word "do" instead of "may".
It is also considered good debate etiquette to fully acknowledge matters the other side of the aisle brings forth that are legitimate.
Sincerely,
Ken

Re: Do NOT go there
TO: Mr. Nosy
I can see your debate etiquette is no better than Mr. Knight.
You wrote:

So far you debate behaviour has been atrocious.
Yet where did you demonstrate this sir?
And may I remind you that it was you who used poor form and acted uncivil at EVC Forum by using the logical fallacy of a ad hominem.
I cite the following:
quote:
I am impressed with how thick you can be.
http://EvC Forum: Jonah and the whale - It happened! -->EvC Forum: Jonah and the whale - It happened!
I would suggest if you truly wish to act like a freethinker you should stop using logical fallacies! LOL
Your debate etiquette here is attrocious. I think I have demonstrated my position adequetely. You seem to have a high resistence to debating in good faith and acting with human decency. I suggest some changes are in order and the sooner the better! In short start acting like a real Admin.
Sincerely,
Ken
