That's what what my dictionary said. Their belief is basically, "God doesn't live here anymore."
"Exactly what I had said." --I may have misinterpreted your saying that 'God doesn't live here anymore'. Though Deism does not imply that God no longer exists or lives in this universe, but that he assumes no control over its continued existence.
