What makes you think they are not open to Christians? It looks like all they've done is ask bigots to leave.

Thanks for the radio link.
It was amazing. It made it quite clear that Mr. Green was completely set on imposing his dogma on everyone. His was perhaps one of the most intolerant discussions I've ever heard short of Fox News.

Once again you misquote me.
String us up as Nero did and set a match to us to light your garden path.
You seem to have a habit of implying that I say things when I have not. You have done this in thread after thread.
Please point to where I said or implied anything like that.

Re: Once again you misquote me.
Sorry, but again, you are continuing to malign me.
Yes, Mr. Green's behavior can only be described as bigotry.
However, what you then did, to imply that the "logical outcome of your trend of thinking" is to burn individuals is absurd. There are many examples where Bigotry has been opposed through other means. I sat at the counters opposing your type of bigotry in Greensboro, North Carolina and was fired for my opposition to such bigotry. It was not the Bigots who were attacked, but those of us opposing it.
There are several far more likely outcomes. The first and prefered is education. Hopefully, those of who hold views similar to Mr. Green can be educated to realize that those ideas are harmful to themselves as well as the target.
The second is legislative. People are free to continue holding such views but will be prevented from acting on them. Believe what you want but stop trying to impose your wrong beliefs on the rest of us.

Countinguing the practice of misquoting.
And now you are accusing me of racism too?
Please point out where I accused you of racism?
What I said was that in the past Religious Bigots opposed equal rights for Blacks just as today they are opposing equal rights for homosexuals.
Fortunately, through a combinations of education and legislation, those bigoted practices were curtailed.
Those bigoted beliefs were wrong then and are still wrong today. Bigotry against homosexuals is wrong today and will be wrong in the future. Hopefully through a combination of education and legislation such bigotry will be curtailed.

Yet more misrepresentation.
Faith, in her continuing campaign of misrepresentaations, says:
Let's see, I've got Chas Knight, crash, you, jar, Ned, and who all else here hating my guts
Please show where I've said I hate your guts?
As a matter of record, I don't hate you.
I don't see hate as even close to the mark.
Sadness? Sure.
Complete puzzlement? Sure.
Pity? Sure.
I will admit I feel sorry for you and hope that someday you find Christ. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Re: Yet more misrepresentation.
Well, I guess this is the third or fourth time in this thread where I've asked you to support one of your libelous statements. Who knows, maybe this time will be the charm.
Please point to my statements that are hateful.

Re: Marriage is for heterosexuals, period.
The point about gay marriage is that the very idea destroys the meaning of marriage.
How does a homosexual marriage affect a heterosexual marriage?

Re: Why state sanctioned marriage?
The state has a definite interest in supporting stable hetero two-parent families for the sake of its own stability, and has no interest whatever in supporting gay marriage.
How does a gay marriage destablize the state?

Re: Why state sanctioned marriage?
By demeaning marriage which is the basis of a stable state, by rendering it a travesty.
How does it demean marriage?

Re: Marriage is for heterosexuals, period.
and has application only to heterosexuals.
Now that makes no sense at all.
Do you approve of denying health care to people because they are gay?

Yes, you do repeat the same stuff over and over.
Anything that trivializes or weakens marriage destabilizes a society.
Yes, you've said that. The question though was "How does a gay marriage weaken society"? Before that the question was "How does a gay marriage affect a heterosexual marriage"?
In both cases you didn't answer the question, you just resorted to your claim that gay marriage trivializes or demeans marriage. Then you wander off into one of your "It's obvious" rants.
So I'll try again.
Do you think it is right to deny a homosexual person health care?

Re: Totally off topic (for Jar)
Yeah. They've done a pretty good job of reproducing the drawings from some of the original versions. I hold out little hope though for the rest.
