Moose writes: But some pretty absurd stuff is also going to show up. You think that a scene showing dinosaurs and humans living together is going to get attention? I think it will, and the most prominent evidence of said having happened may well be The Flintstones and BC cartoons. It will eventually be established that dinosaurs and humans did exist at the same period. Likely what we have already is more authentic than secularists want to admit. Erosion over the millenia would tend to enlarge the impressions of the exposed fossils. BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW

And what is your background in geology/anthropology/palaeontology? Other than your mythology of choice what reason do you have to state this? Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

Not picking on Yank raw material, because I`m sure you could make a similar video in any nation if selective, but here`s a sample of the fodder that creo museums might use.

quote: I don't feel that science really comes into the picture all that much. After all, how much science is in the pre big bang stories?

I dunno, you seem to think the fairy tale promoted by this "museum" is great, what's wrong with telling the FSM's side of the story?
After all, how much science is in the pre big bang stories?
More than none, which is what you'll find in this "museum"
Illness can be caused by evil spirits.
Right and there's a old white guy in the sky watching our every move too. Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

You have an opinion. Good for you. The fact that Biblical Creationism is a lie and fraud is not a matter of opinion but of fact. It is supported only by the Christian Cult of Ignorance and as long as Christians are willing to remain ignorant and willing to fork over money to the leaders of the Cult of Ignorance, it will thrive. Biblical Creationism is not just bad science, it is worse theology. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

quote:Thank you. quote:Without God, there can be no defense, to start with. Many countries found that out through history. As for science, most of the creation debate is before our science is known to apply. So, why not let the creation of the bible be taught, even with imperfect science, rather than shunned, with imperfect science!? After all, the creation museum does better reflect the majority opinion in the US. As for degrading, and humiliating, nothing is more so than the philosphy and world view that claims man is just an animal. Edited by keys, : No reason given.

Without God, there can be no defense
Which god? Allah? Vishnu? Odin the Allfather?
So, why not let the creation of the bible be taught, even with imperfect science, rather than shunned, with imperfect science!?
Because it's a religion? Why teach religion in a science class? And while we're teaching the lies ofchristiantiy do you also want to set aside time for the Turth of Odin?
After all, the creation museum does better reflect the majority opinion in the US.
Well the majority is often wrong. It was once the majority opinion in the US that blacks weren't people.
As for degrading, and humiliating, nothing is more so than the philosphy and world view that claims man is just an animal
As opposed to the worldview that we're the playthings/slaves of a power mad diety? Just a monkey in a long line of kings. If "elitist" just means "not the dumbest motherfucker in the room", I'll be an elitist! *not an actual doctor

quote:I see. So you are not unbiased. Interesting. OK. I would ask you what faith you are from, then, since you had something to say about my faith. Two can play at that game. I do hope you will be honest. If you claim no faith, the faith of your fathers will do. -If not, perhaps you can find some other thread where you randomly insult. This should be fun. quote:Fantastic, glad to hear that. quote:Neither would the standard stories about things that can't be proved, about the beginnings of things, if they were lies. quote:That, you may feel a need to worry about, but, if one is standing on the rock, that would be impossible, because the truth is the truth is the truth. It already would be apparent to them.
