So if the sphere is expanding
The point is, the sphere is not expanding...
Are you saying that if we could have a superstring that could not be stretched connecting the galaxies the galaxies would prove to be not moving though space however it appears your all saying that its only space time that part of nothing that is being stretched by some force thats giving us the illusion that the galaxies have moved when its only space time between them that has stretched.
When your talking about the sphere are you talking about the entire universe. If the galaxies are not moving (the sphere not expanding) is the big bang theory dead?

The galaxies are not flying through space away from each other, the distance between them is increasing because the spacial dimensions are expanding.
If the distance between all of them is increasing then the galaxies themselves have not moved. If the galaxies are not being carried outward by the increasing spacial dimensions then the nothing part of space has increased between the galaxies.
This all sounds just the opposite to the big bang theory that would be more like your balloon analogy. I guess the big bang tried to explain the increasing spacial dimensions but apparently the evidence does not support the balloon analogy?
I find it interesting that spacial dimensions appear to be increasing but apparently not from the impetus of say a big bang. Is the big bang theory dead?

Re: Re-Expansion
The expansion is analogous to the increase in the size of the latitude lines as you move along a longitude line.
It just seems to me that between the galaxies some force is causing the longitude strings of time between the galaxies to be increasing the latitude strings causing the expansion.
If the latitude strings increase then time has not expanded just that time has bled into our present universe.
Is this what your all talking about in respect to the sphere that time has not expanded just being bled into our present universe, etc...?

Re: Re-Expansion
First off: Huh!?
I was just putting strings to your sphere model like connecting the present with the past and the future.
Are you saying that you think that there is some force between the galaxies that is causing time, which is also between the galaxies, to expand, which is the force that causes space to expand?
No, I think time had already been created but yes time exists between the galaxies and that some force is bleeding thru some of these longitude strings that go backwards in time into laditude strings in our universe of the present.
What are you looking at that makes it seem that way?
The theory of relativity meaning light looks like its being red shifted so space distances is increasing causing light to red shift and the galaxies are not moving due to the picture of it is not changing over time yet spacial dimensions are said to be increasing.
You think that time is causing the force that is causing the expansion?
No, Lets just say some force (God alone) is bubbling out space from the past and that thru superstrings of energy the past present and future are inter related. He likely is just increasing space from the present if nothing can be increased because its nothing then if the galaxies are not moving then nothing has increased.
BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Great 'cosmic nothingness' found
I honestly don't understand what you are trying to get across.
I'm not sure I do either lets say (God alone is opening little windows into the past letting space pass thru increasing spacial dimensions into our present to future universe. It would be kind of like time travel bleeding space from the past to the present which would mean time has not increased only the spacial dimensions has increased?

Time a dimension a force not an energy?
Einstein said nothingness is not really nothing because energy exists in expanding space not diluting existing space but accelerating the expansion.
If time is a dimension based on nothingness a force(cashmir force)drawing energy thru the force nothingness generates because if its not an energy but a force being generated within the very fabric of spacetime continually its this force thats causing the curvature of the shrinking of spacetime in the present, that presses the earth forward in expanding spacetime, etc...
==================================================================
Albert Einstein was the first person to realize that empty space is not nothing. Space has amazing properties, many of which are just beginning to be understood. The first property that Einstein discovered is that it is possible for more space to come into existence. Then one version of Einstein's gravity theory, the version that contains a cosmological constant, makes a second prediction: "empty space" can possess its own energy. Because this energy is a property of space itself, it would not be diluted as space expands. As more space comes into existence, more of this energy-of-space would appear. As a result, this form of energy would cause the Universe to expand faster and faster.
