What does supernatural actually mean?

Nothing. It is a human explanation for natural phenomena based off of a limited knowledge of the natural world.
​
Nothing that we know of can be labeled "supernatural." No action in nature is beyond natural explanations. The only thing that is called supernatural is an entity that can never be seen, and for all intent and purposes, is simply the by-product of human imagination.
