Are you old enough to remember David Berkowitz, (aka) Son Of Sam who's now serving a life sentence? When he went to person, he was so diabolically evil that even the guards feared him. A number of years ago he was born again of the Jehovah's Holy Spirit, i.e. converted to Christ and ever since he's been a model prisoner who never expects or wants parole and who is known in prison for helping the invalid prisoners, etc. James Dobson aired a 2 session interview with him. A former prosecutor who heard about his conversion was skeptical until he came to see for himself that such a change could be effected in this formerly hateful man. He said as soon as he saw him he knew he was changed since the former hate in this man could be seen in his countenance.
Of course the diabolical things that appear to be evidenced in some humans, is just one more evidence for the Biblical record, the existence of good and evil entities of a higher intelligence than humans and as evidence of evil spirits, both evil (demon) and good (Holy Spirit) capable of entering into the very minds and bodys of humans.
So there, my friend, there's the logical and evidenced explanation for the otherwise unexplicable mystical realm which is so evident in human cultures.
