The rules are the same --- creationism fails by exactly the same rules by which evolution succeeds
yet creation is not under the secular authority and those rules do not apply to it. Even though i have shown in another thread, 'creation as science' {in the Is it Science forum} that creation can meet most of the secula rscientific 'rules'.
its vulnerability is the same as evolutions', it is NOT a repeatable occurance. secular scientists CANNOT repeat the origin of life nor the interception of that life by the process known as evolution thus it fails to qualify as secularists claim creation fails.
at best all you can do is test the results of evolution BUT the problem with that is, evolutionists have failed to show beyond any reasonable doubt and with evidence that the process actually exists and IS responsible for the declared and claimed changes in llife throughout history.
That is an impossible task given that life follows what Genesis 1 says and the results of creation are seen everyday and are not hypothesized, conjectured, assumed et al. and one does not have to wait a million years to see the changes.
mutations are simply the reaction of a perfect gene made at creation and corrupted by sin and death that entered the world at adam's sin. there is NO possible way to prove the process of evolution had a hand in its change.

Well, creationists/IDists need to supply evidence for their assertions. So far, they haven't.
yet we have evidence and we do not make 'assertions;'. it is not our fault that secularists close their minds to what they do not want to hear.
one piece of evidence is --- gravity. secular science cannot figure it out, cannot solve how it works, cannot provide any evidence for its origin and why it can keep people on earth while holding the moon in place. nor can they explain why the gravitational pull from the sun does NOT rip it out of its orbit with earth.
(part of that comes from The Final Theory by McCutcheon, it is adapted to fit the paragraph}
it is NOT that creationists do not present evidence IT IS that secularists DO NOT want to hear it.

Re: Creation Science
Now Buz, do you see any resemblance to science in this
i do it is just that secularists want to determine what is or isn't science and that is not within their authority. they are biased, deceived and do not want the truth rendering their rules to be unqualified to determne what is or isn't science.
What I see is overriding dogma
et in the theory and practice of evolution, there is over-riding dogma from the evolutionists. you cannot have it both ways. oh and the process and theory are not scientific for the rules are altered to disallow objectivity and honesty and truth.
which will not permit any scientific evidence to the contrary
there is no scientific evidence to the contrary.
people do not speak of certain things because they fear losing their academic standing, their careers, their homes and so much more.
it is all bullying by the secularists.
They have no interest in science
but they do have interest in science; they just do not have any interest in secular science or its lies and false methods.
nor are they willing to follow it's methods because it's findings contradict their beliefs.
secular science's methods are not infallible nor of God thus they do not have to follow them. plus secular science's methods are not designed to lookin the right places for the right answers, coupled with the fact that secular science has no interest in the truth or answers making it an act of futility.
no wonder christians do not want to do things the secular scientific way, they want the correct answers and not waste time in getting them.
the secularists need to remember that they do ot won the field of science and do not have the authority to say what is or isn't scientific work.
if you think you do own it, then please produce the valid and correct original bill of sale from God.

Re: If ICR can't make it in Texas...
Just working from the partial list you posted, do you suppose there are some experiments in those papers that I could try to replicate?
I haven't looked yet, but I think, "Probably not." How about you?
you can't even replicate original changes done by your so-called process of evolution so why are you asking to replicate creationists' work? practice what you preach.
for you to replicate your theory's claimed changes you must remove the scientists, remove the lab, remove the ideal conditions, remove any foreign material injected by the scientists into the test animals, remove the test animals and so on till the conditions are exactly like it was when those supposed changes took place. then you will have to sit there for a million years or so and see if the changes occur as was initially claimed by darwin.
{keep in mind no evolutionist knows what those orignal conditions were, but you probably would have to remove all technology, cities, and so on to get to it.}
if you cannot do that then your theory is false and a lie and you cannot demand of creationists to replicate their work.

Re: ICR Science
You are using a computer that was produced by science. You drive a car that was produced by science. We sent men to the moon using science. Millions of lives are saved by medicine that is a result of science. Have you ever heard of Norman Borlaug? (A University of Minnesota alum I might point out.) He used science to revolutionize farming and has saved tens of millions of lives.
i really hate these type of arguments. not thatit is right but that theyignore the fact that those things came from the intelligence God gave man. science had nothing to do with it. it also forgets that before modern secular science ancient people were practicing perfect dentistry, medicine, construction, and inventing technologies that were far advanced for their time.
science has nothing to do with it at all.
