While evolutionists have managed to impose their ideology on the national education system in America, the threat to dominate the entire planet in every aspect of life, including thought, speech and activity was not their stated and desired goal and determination. I've done my homework on the life and times of the prophet Mohammed, read much of his teaching, laws and goals for Islam. I've observed the crescendo of terrorism which his closet fundamentalist desciples have perpetrated on the world to advance Islam, in direct emulation of how the prophet himself founded and grew the religion in his life, i.e. by the sword. I see this as the threat to Nigeria.------------------

Being born in Nigeria and subject to relatively little media, however, I'd have no idea that video games even existed (for instance).

In light of my earlier posts, I think I must apologise to Buzsaw and to eveyone else. I should not have posted what I did. In this issue I am very much biased and I should not have involved myself.For personal reasons I'm very bitter when it comes to Christianity. While I don't have any sympathy on the front of Sharia (just as I wouldn't on a law that would make our legal system, for example, be based on the 10 Commandments or the laws of Leviticus), you can quite easily - and honestly - replace the word "church" with "mosque", and replace the Christian widows and youth with Muslim ones. You've refused to address the fact that the violence has been going both ways quite heavily, and that Christians have done just as atrocious things in this conflict as well.------------------

So who did you get to help you in interpreting the information? When I was in Tanzania a Muslim friend of mine explained to me that it would not be Islam to force his views on anyone else. No, I'm not saying that all Muslims are peaceful and tolerant, but that "Muslim" is a very broad category, and it is dangerous to base your views on a religion on what happens to make it onto the news.[This message has been edited by Chiroptera, 10-04-2003]

That shit happens in this country too, dude. Yet I don't seem to feel any "clouds of tyranny", except the ones that Christians would impose on us for our own good. Or the clouds of tyranny our Dept. of Homeland Security imposes on innocent foreign nationals held indefinately without trial for the crime of being Muslim in the wrong place.But it deson't change the fact that what you think makes people happy may not be what it takes to make people happy.

I never claimed the status of expert, Rei. I said I've done my homework, meaning I know whereof I speak when I make statements on the subject. It's a new subject, so I'll respond with a new topic, at the risk of spreading myself too thin here with the limited time I have to give to the forum.Btw, I appreciate your general attitude towards me as has been shown in this thread. Though we don't see things alike, you do seem to have a measure of respect for someone's alternative opinion/view in this town without the need for personal insult.

When you look around the planet and see the variety of terrorism/destruction in such a variety of locations and when you loose the world's two tallest buildings, extensive damage to the Pentagon and likely intended target of our Capitol along with the devastation to lives and the economy it brought to our own nation, man does what man's gotta do to save the nation.
