Do you feel a punishment is in order?Perhaps God is sensitive about this and will strike her dead.Revenge is mine sayeth the lord? Perhaps in your righteous indignation you would feel it should be you who metes out any punishment. Is a stoning out of the question? Maybe some other punishment from the bible would be more suited to the crime. If you have a streak of agression you could think up your own method of inflicting a suitable punishment.
Honestly is it not the right of a human being to have his/her own opinion on issues despite it flying in the face of what you believe. It would do you good to turn the other cheek methinks.

I am sorry but I cannot see how you find the audacity to believe that you somehow presume to understand what would or would not piss God off in the first place. Respect is earned never forced and if God can't take what I assume to be a little ribbing then he sure has a job of responsibilty beyond his emotional capabilities doesn't he?
Of course you can blow this off in a minute since I am an atheist and no expert on the big guy myself but there is one other phrase I remember about judge not lest ye be judged.

Sorry to say old man but the God of the bible was less concerned with respect than he was with fear.People kept in an atmosphere of fear are no longer capable of rational thought for the most part so Why would he be surprised at our actions under those conditions.
Now,since the bible is not such a great deal other than to employ a number of people in administration of spreading the word[and vainly to decipher its muddy waters] and since the idea of a God such as is portrayed in the bible is,IMO,laughable in the extreme I do not fear nor respect a non existent God.I simply do not have anything in my life that remotely acknowledges him/her /it.

You know,it just struck me that a lot of the bible could make sense if we assume that the big guy God is going through a messy divorce. He creates the universe, she gets everything in the settlement except Earth which is where he is stuck for all eternity.
No wonder his state of mind is so scattered, swinging from violence to mercy and back again.
It also goes along way to explaining why there are so many lawyers in hell.
