I think it would depend on the individual animals. Doing the experiment of matching randomly selected animals in a number of matches would be, in my mind, unethical.
So another approach might be to calculate and guess. What is the average weight of each (tiger is greater). Which is sronger? Which fights more?
Why would I want to know?
