My musical tastes are quite wide, I think I like what is good from a wide variety of styles. My first love is real punk (both old and classic):
Modern Lovers, Ramones, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, The Freeze, Crucifux, DOA, Millions of Dead Cops, Suicidal Tendencies (first album, before they sold out to become crap), Fear, and Forgotten Rebels. To name a few.
I also like a lot of classic rock/metal/psychodelia:
Cream, Doors, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Cat Stevens, Beatles, Rolling Stones (although I am pissed at them, a different story, bastards owe me!), Donovan, CSN&Y, Procol Harem, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Eric Burdon & the Animals, Styx. Very incomplete list, but again to name a few.
Individual bands/people across all genre I love: Gene Krupa, Arlo Guthrie, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Hank Williams sr., Roy Orbison, Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers, all of Michael Franti's projects (the Beatnigs, Disposable Heroes of the HipHopcrisy, Spearhead), Morphine, G-love and the Special Sauce, Soundtrack to Hair (play not the crappy movie), Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Nirvana, Black Uhuru, Mutabaruka, and Linton Kwesi Johnson. Again to name a few!
