i think the problem is that most fundies don't seem to recognize that familial rape is rape. 50 to 60 percent of child molestors are first generational male relatives. fathers, uncles, brothers, grandfathers. and yet the only people you hear about on the news are catholic priests and pop culture has-beens.

Probably, but unlike a fetus at least his wife was a person. the difference is that he entered into a legal contract for this condition. most women who get abortions have taken other measures to prevent pregnancy which failed.

you know. as opposed to the good old days when anything that happened in a man's family was only his business. it's time we go back to the days when a man's wife and children were his property to do with as he pleased. i mean. a man who can take his frustrations out on his family's genitals is less likely to go out and kill some unsuspecting man at a bar or something. the family is just women and children... totally expendable. but that man. well. he could have been a real leader.

If the outcome occurs, then you should take responsibility for the position you put yourself in. The people who are morally opposed to your method of taking responsibility, and prevent you from doing it, shouldn't have to take on your failed responsibility if you knew that your method wasn't approved of in the first place. my method of taking responsibility for my actions shouldn't be bound by someone else's bullshit morals that my constitution is supposed to protect me from. it's not my religion, i don't have to follow it.

If two people concieve a child/fetus/VARMIT out of sheer stupidity (as opposed to rape or incest), should they not take responsibility for making that child and raise it, instead of going down to the local abortion clinic and getting a quick fix? Sure, those bloodthirsty crowds at the front are hard to face, but it's no picnic to raise a kid, change it's diapers abazillion times, and worrying if they will make the same mistake that YOU made. That's stress over a period of REST OF YOUR LIFE, as opposed to a few minutes facing a horrid crowd calling you "babykiller" you and the other supremely intelligent beings who keep assuming that abortions are only obtained by those who have not attempted other methods of birth control need to... for want of better words... shut the hell up. you have no idea what you're talking about. further. you people who seem to think that an abortion is a quick and easy fix need to shut the hell up. you have no idea what you're talking about. it is a difficult decision that takes careful consideration and is most often pursued by those who have used precautions that failed. it is an expensive and invasive procedure that is more than enough of a demand of responsibility for splitting one's legs. the crowds of assholes? that's a minor inconvenience.
