Atheist do not acknowlege that a Judeo Christian God exist. A primary tenant of Christian beliefs is that in order to "acsend to the Father" one must believe that Jesus Christ is God, and that he was crucified for the forgiveness of our sins. So the answer is yes that person is going to H. E. (double hockey sticks. Why do you think missionaries are all over the world trying to save the souls of all those heathens?

Because what would be the point of making all those Sunday masses if Joe Schmo who is sleeping in gets to go to heaven? No way man, there has got to be retribution and reward or the whole thing falls like a stack of cards.
