Seems to be a lot of uncalled for crankyness happening here.
The opening questions seems to be pretty straight forward, although probably easily answered with a little self-research. I suspect Asgara's links will do the job.
My recollection, is that the Torah was about 5 books that formed the core of the Old Testiment. A may be wrong, but I'm not going to be the one to research it.
