killing with kindness doesn't work either
Well, being confrontational makes him clam up.
Asking questions makes him clam up.
Just hoping that he will 'spill the beans' only makes for repeated hero-worhsip posts.
Feigning praise and asking questions just gets the same treatment.
Oh well...
I did notice in a post at ARN I think it was that someone equated Rivista - salty's main outlet since he abandoned research and reason over 20 years ago - to Origins and Design and PCID...

(2) "A second characteristic of the pseudo-scientist, which greatly strengthens his isolation, is a tendency toward paranoia," which manifests itself in several ways:
...(3) He believes himself unjustly persecuted and discriminated against...(4) He has strong compulsions to focus his attacks on the greatest scientists and the best-established theories. ..

That is true...
Maybe "clams up as far as dealing with the substantive issues goes."?

Re: semantics indeed
That PCID would publish such crap is indicative of their low level of review - that or their desperation.
In addition, one will notice that the "double issue" consists of a handful of already available internet essays.
So, I will modify the above to:
this shows their low level of scrutiny AND their desperation!
LOL!
To see the real Davison in action, check this out...
The exchange between Pim and nosivad - where Pim presents all manner of salty-refuting citations and explanations, and OutOfDate Davison responds with... hero worship and indignation...
How typical...

I have a less charitible one
A came across this on another board:
Arguing on the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics.
Even if you win, you are still a retard.
Mean, I suppose, but I found it hilarious...

Trainor and 'bias'
I have to laugh whenever Davison blabbers on about how much "better" Terry Trainor's den of simpletons is, and how he is unbiased and all this.
Look here:
Link to topic at Terry's Talk Origins
I see at least two folks banned in that thread alone...
Yeah... So much more unbviased....
