Using the analogy, let's talk about forgiveness of sins.
Ok, but I suspect that there are huge variations in what people consider sins that they feel guilty about. I don't know what partiality is, but if I commit this sin but never recognize it as something I have done or should feel guilty about or repent and you do, that simply puts us on an uneven playing field when we are being judged for reward or punishment.
Upon my death, God may look at all of the data and see whether my overall intention was to renounce it or preserve it...making a judgment at that point of examining all of the data.
To me this seems so silly to think that our personal behavior and our very thoughts would be noticed by a Universe creating and managing deity and that it would consider it important to punish "sinners."
My question is simpler though. Do you think god has some method of recording all our actions, everything we say and everything we think for our whole lives, for all of the billions of us that ave lived?
I find myself unable to believe the above is possible, not even considering the possibility that god also created and controls the workings of the Universe, from the scale of super clusters of galaxies down to the Planck Scale.
