I am very well thanks. Fundies, biased mods, and over-moderation were the factors.But I am only back until Monday, then I am off to Spain for a week, come back for a few days then off on a dig for a week (unrelated to the Bible), then back for a few days before starting work again. So, I'll be going inactive again on Monday until probably xmas time. Well, not quite. I am saying that the evidence isn't as blatant as Joseph seems to think it is, and that a lot has been falsified by archaeology. But the poor guy has problems reading. Can't imagine being anything else, unless I see Jesus coming over the horizon as I take my last breath then I'll believe in my heart etc. I just hope He hasnt shaved the beard off or I may mistake Him for someone else! I am familiar with it yes. Do you have any evidence to support the claim in the Book of Genesis that people could live to nearly one thousand years of age?To save the dance, what external evidence do you have that the Book of Genesis is correct here.That there's 155 unidentified Palestinian cities engraved on my ass has nothing to do with what I asked. Well I am aware of a great deal that contradicts it, so we will have to say at the moment you have no external evidence to support Genesis' claim here. Okay, so what's your evidence for this canopy and what is the evidence that ancient men lived very long lives? Do you have any human remains that support your claim? The recording of fairy tales is done for the same reason, doesnt mean they are true though. I think it is a very poor scholar who would jump to that conclusion, given that we know the ancients sometimes exaggerated a great deal. It is called critical research.Do you think if one thing in a book is shown to be correct that this automatically means everything in that book is correct?Brian.
