That's outrageous, is this just a US thing? No wonder the across oceaners come down on me hard, they probably think it's the same in Britain or something...Ho hum. Surely you're not serious though, would you really be looked at as evil? - how dis-respectful for people to impose their beliefs on you like that - and I thought it was myth!

Well, certainly I live in another world compared to people like Schraff. In my home town, we have billboards erected, with reserved and guiding messages, like: " sin is trying to get out of life, what God didn't put in it ". Ok, not very subtle but the orange colored background and basic font in tiny writing, kind of tells me that if you got out your parper and blurted out " I don't believe in God " - Either people would ignore you or think " and? ". So I sympathize with you.
When I read "

I was quite shocked. I mean to be honest Deliverance came to mind. - Intended pun.
