Willowtree, don't get so defensive about Milton. Feel free to cite any of his evidence. However, be prepared to have such "evidence" thoroughly debunked. I hope the evidence will be more credible than the material he cited in this debate.
So, time for you time give some substantive responses.

Willowtree, when are you going to provide your evidence against evolution? So far you seem to have only cited Milton quote mining a scientist or two and a lot of rhetoric. Do you have something more substantive to offer?

No, I covered that when I mentioned quote mining and a lot of rhetoric.
So, the theory of evolution falls before the humble bombadier beetle? Judging from Mark Isaak's comprehensive article on the beetle, I think evolution is still standing upright. Did you have some substantive evidence invalidating the theory of evolution?

Re: Seems like a sensible fellow
Aaaaah, I get it. Willowtree is a troll masquerading as a creationist. This explains his repeated references to Milton and Scott as sources of scientific and theological authority.

Willowtree outs himself
So Willowtree finally confesses that he doesn't really have any evidence against evolution. The quote mining from Richard Milton is the only "scientific" evidence that he can throw up. The rest of the "evidence" is his fantasy that anyone who does not use his preconception of a creator when studying the natural world is either one of the god-deniers involved in a conspiracy or a dupe of said conspiracy.
How could we hve expected evidence from a person who can't distinguish between fact and fantasy or between observation and imagination?
Willowtree, you have been a complete waste of time and effort for those such as darwin's terrior, Nosy Ned and Quetzal, to name but a few, who have provided thoughtful, informative and considered responses to you whilst receiving nothing of substance in return. Now you proclaim "victory" but again claim you will post evidence on the "scientific" level.
As has been said, and repeated, time to put up or shut up.

Re: The end is in sight?

I think willowtree should be given a chance to prove his bona fides. He has said that he will provide his "scientific evidence" against the theory of evolution. Since this was supposedly the purpose of the thread and he has not done so yet, I think he should be given the last opportunity rather than closing down the thread prematurely.
O2U willowtree.

New thread
Willowtree, I have started a new thread - Willowtree's Scientific Evidence against Evolution. Its purpose is to examine the scientific evidence you offer against evolution rather than have it lost amongst your numerous posts on philosophy, atheism, scientism, conspiracy theories, hero worship etc.
I invite you to provide all and only scientific evidence in that thread and others to respond with science-based rebuttal. I've even started the ball rolling by suggesting a test for your Miltonian worldview vis a vis neo-Darwinian evolution.
