While researching the work of Ron Wyatt, I happened to come across a claim that he found the blood of Jesus - a conclusion that he came to after having it tested and finding out that it only had 24 chromosomes.
Now the Exodus topic became derailed because it became too diffused - in this thread, I think that the key issue is clearly the blood work.
Therefore, can anyone explain:
a) The significance of 24 chromosomes.
b) The lab that performed those tests and the procedures that performed.

As explained on my flyer that was handed out at our museum, Ron said that he found Jesus' blood on the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant -- and Ron's private tests of that blood sample showed that Jesus' blood had a total of only 24 chromosomes -- (23 chromosomes came from Mary, and only one "Y" chromosome was provided by God)! Many people have "demanded" to be shown the blood sample, but for many years Ron told people that they would have to WAIT to see the blood -- but for the very first time, on February 3, 2000, Mary Nell Wyatt and Richard Rives decided to post an actually video clip of the BLOOD SAMPLE on the official W.A.R. website! Finally, we can see Ron Wyatt's blood sample! To view it, go to:
http://www.wyattmuseum.com/ark-of-the-covenant-07.htm
(The last time I checked this link, the WAR webpage had been redesigned and this link went to their main index page instead of going to the blood sample page -- I shall look into fixing this link.)
I found this over at Page not found – Pinkoski.com
Who'd believe it - the evidence is in a video!

Doctor - We need a doctor over here!
These living particles have been found to contain genetic material yet to be understood by the scientific community. They have been found to polymorphic in nature, capable of changing forms, and to be "unaffected by extreme high temperatures, extremely toxic chemicals, or even nuclear radiation" They have been described as "an ultramicroscopic sub-cellular living and reproducing entity, which many scientists believe is the precursor of DNA and which may be the building block of all terrestrial life" ......Christopher Bird, The Persecution and Trial of Gaston Naessens.
These tiny particles, some of which are less than one tenth of a micron in size have been recognized by various names including Microzymes, Agens, Endobiont, polymorpha, du sangre, Micromycet, Onkonyxa, Mikroorganisms, Mycoplasma like bodies and by the term "Somatid" meaning "the body that creates."
The French scientist Gaston Naessens is responsible for naming the particles "Somatids." Professor Naessens developed a light microscope capable of viewing these tiny particles which are normally invisible to standard medical microscopes. His microscope is recognized around the world for it's resolution abilities.
As a result of medical necessity and intense research, Richard Rives, President of Wyatt Archaeological Research, became aware of the existence of these tiny living particles "Somatids." He found that in the absence of bacterial cells in urine cultures, which normally divide producing more bacteria, cells would suddenly appear out of nowhere. The question was: where did the bacteria come from. A medical doctor, who was a friend of Richard's suggested that he might check into the claims of Gaston Naessens, that sub-cellular particles existed, capable of developing into "bacteria like forms."
From information that Richard was able to obtain he constructed his own microscope, based on the designs of Gaston Naessens, which was able to reveal the tiny particles. Richard found that these particles were indeed present in the urine samples even when bacterial cells were not present and that they were actually developing into the "bacterial like particles" described by Naessens.

Microscope in it's present "improved" state
It must be stated that the mere presence of these particles in no way proves that the sample taken is "the blood of Christ." These particles would be present an any re-hydrated blood. What is extremely significant is the fact that the sample taken was proclaimed by Ron Wyatt to be blood from a crucifixion site. The presence of these particles tends to confirm his statement.
In 1996, Richard Rives, using the microscope described above, in the presence and with the assistance of Mary Nell Wyatt and Tim Mitchell, was able to view the tiny living particles in the re-hydrated sample which has was described by Ron Wyatt as "the blood of Christ."
Anyone with some medical expertise able to help us out on this one?

gosh never! Anyone know where the actual bloodwork is now?
Or did some steal it to aid to the chariot wheels, the giant's jawbone and the like?

PUT UP OR SHUT TIME for Lysimachus
Lysimachus claims that
quote:
I have personal connections with not only several witnesses, but also contributers and workers themselves involved with W.A.R. Just be patient, and I will take the time to thoroughly provide and document much uncovered information to the public online. Even your questions regarding the Ark of the Covenant and the blood *now that is a touchy subject, and very hard for people to swallow, but once closely investigated, one will realize that the idea is a far cry from being a scam*
http://EvC Forum: Giant People in the bible? -->EvC Forum: Giant People in the bible?
so it's put up or shut time - where is the evidence that the blood was from jesus - let's see it
You feeble arguments from authority fail to stand up to the most basic tests.

more evidence
I could be mixing it up with a different claim of his but I *think* there is no more evidence because when he went back for it some angels appeared to him and said he'd die if proceeded.
I could be mixing that up with a different BS story from Wyatt - they all start to merge in the end.

Re: Ark of the Covenant

Could the presence of orthodox Jews in govt et al be a factor in the reluctance of making public the association of the AOC and blood with Jesus whom they reject? Again, just a speculative thought.
Yeah.. the Jews are behind it...
I'm sure there is a very more simple answer. Piece of fruitcake anyone?

Re: more evidence
Ah yes - this is it
quote:
Inside the cavern Ron encountered four angels who told him they cleaned the cavern out, and to remove the stone tablets when they lifted the heavy Mercy Seat lid up. He did so; and then handed them to one of the angels who set the tablets up on a ledge. The angel told Ron God wanted them to be brought out and shown as soon as the beast has commanded that everyone receive the mark. That's heavy; what does that tell you about where we're at regarding the end times.
Also inside the Ark Ron found a jar of manna, and Aaron's staff or rod; just as the bible said was in it. Ron resealed the cave entrance and went back home. Ron tired[sic] to take pictures of the cavern's contents but God didn't allow it. He used a polaroid, a 35mm, and a video camera and all film turned out blank.
This is someone we should be taking seriously?
