Re: Doctor - We need a doctor over here!
quote:
These tiny particles, some of which are less than one tenth of a micron in size have been recognized by various names including Microzymes, Agens, Endobiont, polymorpha, du sangre, Micromycet, Onkonyxa, Mikroorganisms, Mycoplasma like bodies and by the term "Somatid" meaning "the body that creates."
Microzymes (seems that they were an archaic pre-pasteur theory that there were granules inside animal and plant cells that, once the cell died, continued to function and break down the tissue; this was how they explained fermentation and decay. Apparently a couple crackpot pages still reference the term in one form or another, especially those pushing "natural" cures; none that I could find use it at all in the way that Wyatt does except his own site and those who copy his articles).
Agens (Too common of a term on its own. When narrowed down with "particles", the only hits it gets are foreign pages, Wyatt's site and a lot of sites that misspell "agents". Also an interesting page about how agens was a 12th century alchemical term for something necessary for transmutation of minerals.)
Endobiont (lots of links to homeopathic medicine (especially for cattle) as a name for red blood cells; there's also some references to endobiont sponges) (this is the closest he ever gets to properly using a term).
Polymorpha (lots of hits, but all of the ones that I run into on the first 10 pages or so are either typos of "polymorph", or more commonly, species names (especially for fungi))
du sangre (apart from Wyatt's site, the only hits are from a handful of French websites)
Micromycet (Apart from Wyatt's site, it only comes up as A) a type of bacterial culture, and B) a word on a czech webpage used to mean hypersensitivity to fungi)
Onconyxa (1 hit, only Wyatt's website)
Mikroorganisms (Only shows up on foreign websites - mainly .lv and .at; assumedly is the word for "microorganisms")
Mycoplasma (the genus name for pneumonia - Mycoplasma pneumoniae.)
Somatid (A creation of already-discussed quack Gaston Naessens - however, the aforementioned quack says it means "tiny body")

"Illuminant light,
illuminate me."
