WMScott -- I want post a visual of the mercy seat on this forum, but don't know how to do it -- it will help explain how the cherubim were put "on the ends" of the lid -- I will scan the image and send it via e-mail to you, and maybe you can post it on the forum here for me?
Wow, it worked! There's the image -- and as it is clear to see, the cherubims were attached to the ENDS of the mercy seat lid! This message has been edited by JimSDA, 05-09-2005 10:27 AM

Jar, the date of when that pic was published is extremely important to you for making your case against Ron! If, as I point out, that Ron never had a chance to see any of the other pictoglyphs in the other parts of Saudi Arabia, then Ron never schemed about covering up anything! And his opinion of the petroglyphs being on the Golden Calf Altar was 100% logical! You say he covered up things and had to know about the other petroglyphs, and I'm telling you that he never knew about them! And again, the dating of the petrogylphs is something that is up for debate -- and we will not even begin to agree with anyone's dating time table that goes beyond a 6,000 year total time period (the Bible's chronology).
You can "assume" that the petroglyphs pre-date the Exodus, but all of that is up for argument -- it ain't, as we might say, "written in stone"! This message has been edited by JimSDA, 05-07-2005 09:51 AM

WMScott, are you really sure that you want to say that you have "perfect knowledge" of what God means when He inspired Daniel to write "and anoint the most Holy"? Are you absolutely sure that you can say that you know you're absolutely right?
Come on now, you know that you're only human, and no matter how much studying you've done you cannot claim to have absolute perfect understanding of Daniel 9 and what it did or did not mean to "anoint the most HOLY"! WMScott, do you have access to the SKY ANGEL satellite system? Can you see any of their programs? I have the DISH satellite and that has one of their channels -- the reason I ask is that it would be great if you could see a certain show called A ROOD AWAKENING! Michael Rood is doing a 6-part presentation about the Temple and Ron's discovery of the Ark of the Covenant -- and the next segment (part 6) is entitled "To Anoint the Most Holy!" A ROOD AWAKENING is on twice a week, Tuesday nights at 11pm, and Saturday afternoons at 12:30 -- let me know if you can see the show, OK? Regarding your interpretation about the bodies coming out of the graves, I don't think it agrees with Scripture -- I use the King James, and it clearly says in Matthew 27:52-53 that the sleeping saints arose (they didn't just have their bodies dumped out on the ground, what a gross and disrespectful thing for God to do to them!) and then they "went into the holy city and appeared to many"! These people were the "first fruits" of the resurrection, and in our understanding these people became the "24 elders" when they joined Elijah and Enoch and Moses in heaven. Jesus/Yeshua had just conquered death -- and He didn't want to have to wait 2,000 years to resurrect some of the people He died for! So those first few saints came resurrected out of their graves, they went into Jerusalem and testified about God's Son, and then they went to heaven in their perfect new eternal bodies. Your interpretation of them just being flopped out onto the ground as corpses is far short of what really happened, my friend. Jar, part of your criticism of Ron is that you think he knew about the other petroglyphs in Saudi Arabia, and I've been telling you that Ron never knew about them!
And when Ron finally got pictures in 1992 from the people who went to the site, what makes you think that they photographed ALL the petroglyphs? What if they only gave Ron a few shots? What if they never got pictures of all the petroglyphs? You don't know when or if Ron ever saw those other drawings! I don't even know! It's taken several people making several trips there to get all the pics we have -- and we're still not done! Cut Ron and the rest of us some slack -- DO YOU OR DON'T YOU WANT THE MT. SINAI SITE FULLY INVESTIGATED? That's what true science demands! And that's what we are trying to do! Remember that I mentioned that Dr. Lennart Moller's 2-hr documentary film is about ready to be released? There's a good chance that he might deal with all these other petroglyphs! So how about being a little patient and waiting to see what he does with the material? You might be pleasantly surprised --

Ramoss, show me the pics -- both versions -- I want to see the evidence that Ron (or someone) modified the pics. Or provide links to the pics, either is fine with me.

I have sent the image of page 265 in Moller's book where he shows the very same pics you guys have been talking about to an Admin person to upload here -- which proves that we are not hiding anything!
Wow, it actually worked! . . .

EZscience, if there was "no evidence whatsoever" then Ron's discoveries NEVER would have gotten onto CNN, Dateline, 20/20, PAX TV, The 700 Club, PBS, and in Time and Newsweek, and published by a Swedish scientist who's entire profession deals with "looking at the evidence"! BUT THEY HAVE!
For Jar or anyone to blatently say that Ron has "no evidence whatsoever for his claims" is a person who is playing games -- they are NOT dealing seriously with the material, and they are only doing this message forum a disservice because of their preconcieved biases against Ron Wyatt and his work! If Jar was truly a serious "science" kind of guy he would be interested in knowing "why" Dr. Moller and the others believe in Ron's evidence, and Jar would ENCOURAGE MORE WORK BEING DONE ON RON'S SITES! If he (or anyone else on this forum) merely posts negative messages about "all of Ron's work," it shows me that they are not here to honestly share inflormation and learn something, they are here because they dispise Ron's work. That attitude goes directly against the entire concept of honest/serious scientific investigation! I'm posting on this forum for a little while to attempt to get this thread back to being "fair" about Ron's work -- I was here a year or so ago, arguing with the very same people -- and I'm not going to make it a life-long job of me being on this forum forever, I have better things to do with my time. I'm just posting for a week or so, that's probably all -- then I go back to dealing with people who are a little more honest with listening to the evidence!

WmScott, I finally got the image downloaded onto my message #179, so you may reply to it now.

EZscience, please remember that Ron's work dealt with 7 different important biblical archaeology discoveries, and each item is going to have a different amount of evidence -- and also try to keep in mind that, while a lot of the material is posted for free on the Internet for everyone to see, some things are just in the books and other publications. So you may be seeing only parts of the evidence, OK?

The question to Ron seems to be whether or not he took the stones out of the AofC by himself, and his answer is "no" -- he had the help of the 4 angels. If Ron had been the only one to remove the 10Cs from the Ark, then Ron would have had to somehow lift the Ark's lid off and then take out the 10C stones -- but the 4 angels lifted the lid, then Ron lifted out the 10Cs. Ron did not take out the 10Cs all by himself, he had the help of the 4 angels.
And by the way, it's really disappointing to hear Jar and various people on this forum doubt the existence of angels -- there are thousands of stories of people being helped by angels all over the world, and these stories verify the existence of the angels! And 4 of them seem to have been appointed the job of guarding the Ark of the Covenant, and those are the 4 angels that Ron saw in the cave.

Jar, sorry, it was Charles Knight who said he doubted angels in message #204, and I got the two of you mixed up -- thought it was you who said it --

Brian, when you hear the testimony of a respected professional like a policeman or a doctor who sees a UFO in the sky and there is video of it shot by others, then you can believe the story --
If I hear how a woman in my church was about to step off a curb and get hit by a speeding bus that she didn't see, and she was sudden turned 180 degrees around so that she actually stepped away from the busy street just as the bus sped by, then I count her story as truth because I and others have known her for years to be a completely honest person. Her guardian angel protected her from stepping into that street. And I heard from the person whom it happened to! Which just verifies that the Bible is telling us the truth about invisible angels being all around us! And with the sightings and filming of thousands of UFOs, I think it's safe to say that they all aren't "swamp gas," Brian!

And here's yet ANOTHER guy on this forum -- ramoss -- who thinks there's absolutely "no" evidence to Ron's discoveries!
Amazing -- ramoss, why don't you show us all how "easy" it is to get something onto 20/20 or Dateline? Go for it, my friend -- pick any of your pet projects, get in touch with the story editors of 20/20 and Dateline and SHOW US ALL HOW EASY IT IS TO GET YOUR STUFF ONTO NATIONAL TV! Yeah, show me -- as if you could EVER get anything onto any of those national network TV shows!

Brian, do you know who Dr. Ekrem Akurgal is? He was Turkey's foremost archaeologist -- he was responsible for the discovery of evidence for the Hittite nation which made him world-famous -- Dr. Akurgal met with Ron Wyatt in 1985 and when he saw the photos of the Noah's Ark formation, he said:
"At any rate, it is a ship ... it must be preserved ..." If it only takes a couple of minutes to convince a world-famous archaeologist that the Durupinar formation in Eastern Turkey is a giant ruined boat embedded in an ancient mud flow at 6,000 feet above sea level on a mountain that is miles away from any ocean or body of water, then how blind are you? Dr. Ekrem Akurgal could see it very easily! But you can't, eh? We have no evidence, you say? The evidence was fine for Dr. Akurgal! Are you telling me that YOU are "more professional" than a world-famous archaeologist?

ramoss, then the bottom line to the thousands of sightings of UFOs and the thousands of stories of angel interventions is that THERE IS SOMETHING TO IT, even though we don't know all the answers yet!
And more study is required -- just like more study is required on Ron Wyatt's sites!
