Re: Some comments about writing
"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid; for I am with you always, to the end of the world." Sometimes when I feel down, I think on those words, and peace returns to me"
And I found it deeply moving. In fact, I was moved to tears. I am wondering if my emotional reaction might be evidence of something?
It could be evidence that Jesus is calling to you. Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
{Edited to eliminate cynical allusion to the naysayers' attitude}

Re: Some comments about writing
Your rendition of me could have been worse, but it did come at a time when I was being piled on rather ferociously so I just took a vacation from the place. I've been angry, that's for sure, and maybe the portrait is apt enough. Part 2 was really hilarious though.
I've had a lot of fun with a Neverending Story on a forum. Have you done that? It seems that's what some others here are trying to turn this into. Someone starts, leaving the action at as "interesting" a point as you can think of and the next person takes off from there.
You are pointing out the beautiful literary qualities of Jesus' words, but if you are content to leave it on that level you are missing the real treasure.

Re: Act I, scene iv
I've been thinking he was even harder on Schraf myself.

Re: Reply to critics
Yes, Nightrain, but I am not into hurting people, because if I hurt someone else, I hurt myself. And this is uncalled for. We must all bond together to benefit the world. For example, I was miserable about Holmes' criticism. I thought I had done him justice. And yet he treated me with contempt. And then there was Moose's remark, that my comments were "high quality drivel." Excuse me? After I've worked so hard and put my blood, sweat, and tears into this project? And he calls it "drivel"? Doesn't he perceive that I have a serious point to make here? Is he that obtuse? And Schrafinator accuses me of sexism? This is what you can expect if you adore a woman. Take it from me, if you admire them they will despise you.
This too is part of the play? RR continuing in playwright mode? I mean it sounds "literary" too. Or is it just that I can't tell any more what's you and what's you in literary drag as it were?
