My thought on how they became extinct is when the flood happened.

This statement is completely lacking in evidence. However, I just thought I would also point out the theological mistake you have made as well. If all the animals were saved during the flood, then the dinasours would still be here. Perhaps you'd like to start another thread to discuss this, but I will stop it here.
