Yes, and no. Human nature was not designed by an 'intelligent designer', but the filter process known as 'natural selection' is a 'design method'... that could be could 'unintelligent design'.
Some people I know took a long time to get over that precise problem. Their lack of self worth, coupled with anger, drove them to destructive, risk taking behaviors.
The two people that come to mind most prominately are over it, but it took a lot of hard work. One is an atheist, the other is someone who is very spiritual, but learly of any organised religion.
You know what, it works for me too. Seeing the world through that view point is much more meaningful for ME that either mumbling and groaning about the world, and trying to have something imposed upon me from an outside source.
Yep.. it's subjective. But, to me, it is more meaningful on a personal level.
