Watson and Crick discovered the helical structure of DNA using x-ray crystallography: They (or Roslyn Franklin, actually) shot x-rays through a crystal of DNA which projected a Fourier transform of the crystal structure on a screen. It has recently been discovered that the accelerated electrons in a lightening bolt, when striking air molecules, produce copious x-rays, and that this is a significant component of how lightening bolts are propagated.
Thus, we can deduce that what Ezekial is referring to here is that some person was struck by lightening and that the x-rays produced by that lightening (which appeared to emanate from the north) resolved the person's DNA structure which was cast onto Ezekial's retina.
We therefore see that Ezekial, with the help of god, discovered DNA and its structure, x-ray crystallography, and Fourier transforms long before modern science. This proves once and for all the inerrancy of the bible and its divine inspiration.
