SUBBIE WRITES (AND VIOLATES THE SPIRIT OF THIS DISCUSSION, AND THE GUIDELINES IE NEEDLING)
You do a fine job getting in your own needling comments, e.g., this from Message 42:

With all due respect to Mr Subbies authority, I refuted all of subbies claims. Unless subbie is the irrefutable expert to end all experts we will have to wait and see how this comes out!
The police don't pull people over for going a few miles per hour over the limit. They don't have the time, it wouldn't contribute significantly to traffic safety, and it would raise a howl from the public.
In the same way, moderators at EvC Forum don't have the time to moderate every slight, it wouldn't significantly improve debate, and it would annoy everyone so much the place would empty out.
Discussion is like traffic. On the way to work everyday we all invariably get passed by people going over the limit, we get cut off, we see drivers who roll through stop signs or through right turn on red. It isn't personal, it's just the way people drive. Trust me, when the moderators here see people do the equivalent of going 100 mph or driving down the sidewalk, they'll definitely take action.
My suggestion here is to just ask Subbie to explain where in his opinion you have gone wrong in applying the mathematics appropriately.

About editing posts, we have a longstanding informal but closely followed policy of not modifying or deleting posts. Exceptions are corrections to spelling and grammar, minor clarifications, and additions. Additions are usually made at the bottom of posts and are preceded with the annotation "Abe" for "Added by Edit". One usually only makes an addition if one thinks of it before the relevant person or persons would have had a chance to see it. Those who abuse their editing privileges lose them.

Re: HEY - WRONG REPLY BUTTON AGAIN!
Hi Rev,
Let me try to explain again.
There are two types of "reply" button.
The first type is for general replies. It's a relatively big button, one near the top of the page and another near the bottom, that says in big letters, "Gen Reply". It's for responding to the thread in general rather than to a specific message.
The second type of reply button is for replies to a specific message, and one can be found beneath each message. To find it, look at the bottom of any message. Don't look at the bottom of the page. Look at the bottom of the message. You'll see a row of buttons. The buttons say things like "profile", "mail", "edit", "reply" and "peek".
When replying to a specific message, the little "reply" button at the bottom of the message is the one you want. When you use this button then the message you reply to has your message appended to the list of messages under the heading "Replies to this message" at the bottom of his message (but above the row of little buttons). And your message gets a "This message is a reply to" link back to the message you replied to.
If you instead use the "Gen Reply" button when replying to a specific message, unless you begin with a salutation to someone specific, no one will know who you're replying to. Everyone knows immediately when you've used the "Gen Reply" button because your message has no annotation about which message it is a reply to.
Hope this helps.

Re: Rational & More Rational
Hi ICANT,
I appreciate the effort you're making to understand current views regarding the birth of the universe, but you're again causing considerable frustration. Unless you can figure out how to give other participants the impression that you're working constructively with them to reach a common understanding, I'm going to again have to request that your withdraw from a Big Bang thread (which I know wasn't exactly the original topic here, but it's close enough unless someone expresses a strong interest in re-engaging the Kalam Cosmological Argument).
AbE: To everyone else: Moderation's position regarding ICANT's participation here is in no way an excuse for your own Forum Guidelines violations. Keep your discussion focused on the topic and consistent with the Forum Guidelines.
Edited by Admin, : Add AbE para.
Edited by Admin, : Grammar.

Moderator Request
Hi ICANT,
I'm afraid I'm going to have to request that you stop posting to this thread. If I'm actually stepping in where no intervention was desired then the other participants can make appeals for me to rescind this request at Report discussion problems here: No.2.
